Abstract
Geometrija služi kao izvrstan medij za razvijanje matematičkog mišljenja kroz rješavanje problema i učenje o važnosti i izvođenju dokaza, uz to prikladna je i za kreativan i istraživački rad. Područje je neizmjerno bogato teoremima i zanimljivim problemima uz to još i posjeduje vizualnu privlačnost. Sve ovo čini geometriju atraktivnim i izazovnim područjem za učenje i poučavanje. Cilj je ovoga rada kroz razne aktivnosti pod općim naslovima kao sto su prepozna- vanje oblika, simetrija, kutovi, konstrukcije, popločavanja ravnine i sukladnost po- kazati kako svaki od njih daje mogućnosti za učenje važnih riječi, razvijanje ključnih ideja i poduzimanje koraka kako bi učenici bili sposobni obrazlagati i objašnjavati umjesto pogađati i pretpostavljati. Učenici trebaju iskusiti raznolikosti pristupa i uvidjeti različite načine rješavanja geometrijskih problema (zadataka). Uspješnost ovisi o stjecanju intuitivnog osjećaja za geometrijske oblike kroz odgovarajuće praktične zadatke kako bi suštinska deduktivna priroda geometrije mogla proizaći iz sličnosti s jednostavnim svojstvima i relacijama.
Abstract (english)
Geometry serves as an excellent medium for developing mathematical thinking through problem solving and studying about the importance and the derivation of proofs, and is also suitable for creative and research work. The eld is innitely rich with theorems and interesting problems and, in addition, possesses visual appeal. All of this makes geometry an attractive and challenging eld for studying and te- aching. The aim of this paper is to, through various activities under general headlines such as the recognition of shapes, symmetry, angles, constructions, tessellations and congruency, show how each one of them oers possibilities for learning important words, developing key ideas and taking steps in order for the students to be able to argue and explain instead of guess and assume. The students have to experience the diversity of approaches and recognize die- rent ways of dealing with geometrical problems (tasks). The success depends on acquiring intuitive sense of geometrical shapes through suitable practical tasks in order for the essential deductive nature of geometry to arise from resemblance to simple properties and correlations.
