Abstract
U ovom diplomskom radu opisujemo primjenu osnovnih principa kombinatorike u teoriji vjerojatnosti. U prvom poglavlju dan je povijesni pregled kombinatorike i teorije vjerojatnosti te su naznačeni samo neki od važnih matematičara koji su doprinijeli njihovom razvoju. Nadalje, u drugom poglavlju opisani su osnovni kombinatorni principi, te smo na raznim primjerima ilustrirali navedene definicije. Treće poglavlje donosi nam vjerojatnosni prostor, klasičnu definiciju vjerojatnosti, njena osnovna svojstva te uvjetnu vjerojatnost. Sve to bit će potrebno kako bismo u četvrtom poglavlju primijenili kombinatorne principe na vjerojatnosne probleme kroz niz različitih zanimljivih zadataka.
Abstract (english)
In this paper we describe the applications of the basic principles of the combinatorics in probability theory. The first chapter provides a historical overview of combinatorics and probability theory and outlines some of the important mathematicians who have contributed to its development. Furthermore, the second chapter describes the basic combinatorial principles and we applied given definitions to various examples. Chapter three brings us the probability space, the classical definition of probability, its basic properties and the conditional probability. All of this will be necessary in chapter four to apply combinatorial principles to probabilistic problems through a number of different interesting tasks.
