Abstract
U ovom završnom radu upoznat ćemo se s linearnim problemom najmanjih kvadrata kao i s metodama za njegovo rješavanje. U uvodnom dijelu detaljno ćemo opisati problem najmanjih kvadrata za unaprijed zadani skup podataka. U nastavku rada, definirat ćemo linearni problem najmanjih kvadrata i opisati njegovo rješavanje pomoću sustava normalnih jednadžbi, QR-dekompozicije i dekompozicije na singularne vrijednosti. Svaku od navedenih metoda testirat ćemo na istom primjeru kako bi zaključili da daju isti rezultat.
Abstract (english)
In this final paper, linear least squares problem will be introduced along with some methods for solving it. In the introduction we will detail the least square problem for a predefined data set. After that, we will explain three methods which can help us solve the mentioned problem: system of normal equations, QR-decomposition and singular value decomposition. Also, each of these methods will be tested on the same example to conclude that they give the same result.
