Abstract
U ovom radu promatramo krivuljne integrale i njihove primjene. Najprije se bavimo krivuljnim integralom prve vrste. Motivacijskim primjerom dolazimo do definicije, a nakon toga postepeno navodimo svojstva i karakterizacije. Zatim prelazimo na primjene krivuljnog integrala prve vrste s naglaskom na primjene u matematici i fizici. Za svaku od primjena navodimo izvod kao i primjer kojim ilustriramo moguću primjenu u stvarnom životu. Nakon toga se posvećujemo krivuljnom integralu druge vrste i njegovim primjenama, uspostavljajući analogne tvrdnje i rezultate kao i u slučaju krivuljnog integrala prve vrste. Takoder, pronalazimo vezu između ta dva krivuljna integrala, kao i vezu s dvostrukim integralom danu Greenovim teoremom. Na samom kraju bavimo se primjenama krivuljnog integrala druge vrste uz odgovarajuće primjere.
Abstract (english)
In this paper, we will observe line integrals and their applications. First, we will focus on scalar line integrals. With a motivational example we come to a definition, and then we gradually state various properties and characterizations. Then, we move on to applications of scalar line integrals with emphasis on applications in mathematics and physics. For each of the applications, we derive the formula and provide an example to illustrate possible application in real life. After that, we devote to vector line integrals and their applications, establishing analogous statements and results as in the case of scalar line integral. Also, we find connection between the two types of line integrals, as well as a connection with the double integral given by Green’s theorem. At the very end, we deal with applications of vector line integrals with appropriate examples.
