Abstract
U ovom radu opisana je klasa epidemioloških stohastičkih modela u diskretnom vremenu koji se temelje ne binomnoj distribuciji. Kako se radi o diskretnom skupu stanja, modele se može zapisati pomoću Markovljevih lanaca. Modeli se razlikuju u ovisnosti vjerojatnosti izbjegavanja zaraze s zaraženom osobom te o ponovnoj podložnosti osobe nakon zaraze. Model je dobar na malim populacijama dok za velike nije primjenjiv zbog pretpostavke o homogenosti populacije. Znanstvenici Heisman i Reid pokazali su funkcionalnost više klasa modela na stvarnim podacima
Abstract (english)
This paper describes one of stohastic epidemiological models in discrete time that are based on binomial distribution. Because of discrete state space we can model with Markov chains. The difference between them is based on an assumption whether the probability of escaping an infection depends on the infected person. The model is valid if used only in a small circle of people due to the assumption of homogeneity. Scientists Heisman and Reid made a big contribution when they demonstrated the functionality of different models on real data.
