Abstract
U ovom diplomskom radu bavimo se temom redukcije sustava drugog reda algoritmom balansiranog odsijecanja. Na početku rada definiramo linearno vremenski invarijantan sustav prvog reda i funkciju prijenosa za sustav. Definirat ćemo svojstva stabilnosti, upravljivosti i osmotrivosti koja sustav mora imati kako bi se mogao reducirati algoritmom balansiranog odsijecanja. Algoritam balansiranog odsijecanja za sustave prvog reda primijenit ćemo na CD player modelu. Definirat ćemo sustave drugog reda i njihova svojstva te primijeniti na primjeru Mass-Spring-Damper jednu verziju algoritma balansiranog odsijecanja za sustave drugog reda. Metode balansiranog odsijecanja za sustave drugog reda su važne jer zadržavaju strukturu sustava i fizikalnu interpretaciju.
Abstract (english)
In this thesis, we deal with the topic of second-order system reduction using the balanced truncation algorithm. At the beginning of the work, we define a linear time-invariant system of the first order and a transfer function for the system. We will define the properties of stability, controllability and observability that the system must have in order to be able to be reduced by the balanced truncation algorithm. We will demonstrate the balanced truncation algorithm for first-order systems on the CD player model. We will define secondorder systems and their properties and apply, using the Mass-Spring-Damper example, one version of the balanced truncation algorithm for second-order systems. Balanced truncation methods for second-order systems are important because they preserve the system structure and physical interpretation.
