Abstract
U ovom radu proučavat ćemo Krylovljeve potprostore. Ovi potprostori imaju važnu primjenu u numeričkoj analizi, posebno za rješavanje sustava linearnih jednadžbi. Osim toga, koriste se i u drugim područjima, uključujući optimizaciju i teoriju kontrole. U radu će najprije biti dan pregled osnovnih pojmova iz linearne algebre koji su nužni za daljnje razumijevanje. Nakon toga, definirani su Krylovljevi potprostori i navedena njihova osnovna svojstva. Primjena Krylovljevih potprostora promatrana je na problemu rješavanja sustava linearnih jednadžbi, pri čemu su posebno promatrane metoda konjugiranih gradijenata i GMRES metoda.
Abstract (english)
In this paper we will study Krylov subspaces. These subspaces have important applications in numerical analysis, especially for solving systems of linear equations. In addition, they are used in other fields, including optimization and control theory. The paper will first give an overview of the basic terms from linear algebra that are necessary for further understanding. After that, Krylov subspaces are defined and their basic properties are stated. The application of Krylov subspaces was observed to the problem of solving a system of linear equations, where the method of conjugate gradients and the GMRES method were especially observed.
