Abstract
U ovom završnom radu proučavali smo pojam podmatrica, definirali blok-matrice i naveli nekoliko primjera blok-matrica. Također smo proučili množenje blokmatrica skalarom, transponiranje, zbrajanje i množenje blok-matrica uz odgovarajuće primjere. Definirali smo rang, inverz i determinantu blok-matrice te zatim i blok-dijagonalnu i blok-trokutastu matricu te smo naveli neka svojstva i objasnili način kako pronaći svojstveni i minimalni polinom blok-matrice. Na kraju smo naveli primjere riješenih zadataka s matematičkih natjecanja.
Abstract (english)
In this final paper we have studied the concept of submatrices, defined partitioned matrices (block matrices) and gave some examples of partitioned matrices. Also, we have studied multiplication of partitioned matrices by a scalar, transposes, sums and products of partitioned matrices with appropriate examples. We have defined rank, inverse and determinant of partitioned matrix and then we’ve defined partitioned-diagonal matrix and partitioned-triangular matrix and some of their properties and explained how to find characteristic and minimal polynomial. At the end, we listed some examples of solved tasks from math competitions.
