Abstract	Zaključivanje i razumijevanje smisla proučavanog sadržaja predstavljaja temelj matematike. Rekonstrukcijom matematičkih programa u školama povećava se učenikov razvoj u sadržajnom i proceduralnom znanju koji je potreban učenicima kako bi bili uspješni u nastavku učenja matematike i u svojim životima. Zaključivanje i razumijevanje matematičkih sadržaja su nerazdvojni u razvoju matematičke kompetencije te su usko povezani. Zaključivanje u matematici zahtjeva veću razinu razumijevanja. Povezivanje nastavnih jedinica predstavlja najbolju strategiju kojom učenici mogu razumiti cilj lekcije. Geometrija nudi mnoge mogućnosti za razvoj navika zaključivanja kroz različite zanimljive primjere. Ključni elementi zaključivanja i razumijevanja geometrije obuhvaćaju pretpostavke o geometrijskim objektima, oblikovanje i vrednovanje geometrijskih argumenata, različite geometrijske pristupe te geometrijske veze i modele. Ključni elementi zaključivanja u algebri su smislena uporaba simbola, promišljena manipulacija, argumentirano rješavanje zadataka, povezivanje s geometrijom te povezivanje izraza i funkcija. Dugoročni cilj učenja algebre je lakoća manipuliranja algebarskim izrazima.
Abstract (english)	Reasoning and sense making of content that a person study represents the foundation of mathematics. Reconstruction of mathematical programs in schools increases students development in procedural way that is esential for successfull extension of the process of learning mathematics. Reasoning and sense making of mathematical content are inseparable in development of mathematical competence and are closely related. Reasoning in mathematics demands higher level of understanding. Connecting lectures represents the best strategy for understanding the point of lecture. Geometry offers many opportunities for development of reasoning habits through different interesting examples. The key elements for reasoning and sense making of geometry covers conjectures about geometric objects, construction and evaluation of geometric arguments, multiple geometric approaches and geometric connections and modeling. The key elements of reasoning with algebra are meaningful use of symbols, mindful manipulation, reasoned solving, conecting algebra with geometry and linking expressions and functions. Long term purpose of studying algebra is algebraic expression manipulating with easiness.
