Abstract
U ovom radu predstavit će se Littlewoodov zakon te zakon doista velikih brojeva. Prije svega, razradit će se definicija čuda i događaja uz sklopu Littlewoodovog zakona, detaljno će se pojasniti zakon i njegova primjena. Konačno, u prvom dijelu rada predstavit će se i križanje događaja koje su ljudi skloni interpretirati kao čudo. Potom, u drugom poglavlju, predstavit će se kognitivne distorzije kojima su ljudi skloni te koje doprinose interpretaciji čuda. Zakon doista velikih brojeva kao i primjer samog zakona prikazat će se u trećem poglavlju.Četvrto poglavlje uključuje raspravu o pseudoznanosti, a peto o tome kako na temelju predstavljenih zakona, osoba ima mogućnost djelomične kontrole doživljavanja čuda u skladu Littlewoodove definicije.
Abstract (english)
This paper focuses on the Littlewood’s law and the law of truly great numbers. Firstly, the definition of miracles and events in accordance with Littlewood’s law will be presented. The law and its application are explained in detail. Finally, the last part of the first chapter presents the intersection of events that people tend to interpret as a miracle. The second chapter shifts to cognitive distortions people are subject to and that affect human perception of miracles. The law of really large numbers, as well as an example of the law itself, is presented in the third chapter. The fourth chapter includes a discussion about pseudoscience. The final fifth chapter focuses on human ability to partially control the experience of miracles according to Littlewood’s definitions
