Abstract
Povijesno gledano, Fourierov polinom izveden je iz Fourierovog reda koji je nastao u svrhu matemaričkog modela za rješavanja problema provođenja topline u metalnoj pločici. U radu smo najprije pobliže objasnili temeljne dijelove za postojanje Fourierovih polinoma počevši s periodičnosti, a zatim smo se osvrnuli na aproksimaciju funkcije trigonometrijskim polinomom. Tako smo došli do trigonometrijskog polinoma koji nam pomaže pri zapisu i izračunu Fourierovog polinoma. Na samom kraju smo se dotakli Fourierovog reda iz kojega u konačnici možemo dobiti dovoljno dobru aproksimaciju funkcije.
Abstract (english)
The Fourier polynomial is derived from the Fourier series which was developed for the purpose of a mathematical model for solving the problem of heat conduction in a metal plate. In this paper, we first explain in more detail the fundamental parts for the existence of Fourier polynomials starting from periodicity and then we look at the approximation of a function by a trigonometric polynomial. So we came up with a trigonometric polynomial that helps us to write and calculate a Fourier polynomial. In the end, we touched a little on the Fourier Order, which ultimately give us approximation of function that is good enough.
