Abstract
Životno osiguranje je obaveza osiguravajućeg društva prema osiguranoj osobi. U ovom radu su prikazana osiguranja ovisna o smrti osigurane osobe, odnosno osiguranje života na određeno vrijeme, doživotno osiguranje života i mješovito osiguranje života i doživljenja. Na početku su definirani osnovni pojmovi potrebni za njihovo bolje razumijevanje i tablice smrtnosti koje se koriste prilikom ugovaranja osiguranja. Svako osiguranje je detaljno objašnjeno vremenskim prikazom i primjerom. Analizirano je i osiguranje doživljenja te su razmatrane rente i premije. Istaknuta je važnost i potreba za razlikovanje osiguranja i renti te su objašnjene njihove razlike. U posljednjem poglavlju su analizirane premije koje osigurana osoba plaća osiguravajućem društvu u zamjenu za osigurani iznos.
Abstract (english)
Life insurance is an obligation of the insurance company to the insured person. This paper presents insurances dependent on the death of the insured person, i.e. term life insurance, whole life insurance and endowment. In order to be better understood, basic terms are defined at the beginning of the paper as are mortality tables which are used when buying insurance. A timeline and an example of every type of insurance is presented in detail. Pure endowment is also analysed with annuities and premiums taken into consideration. The importance of differentiating insurances and annuities is explained. The last chapter analyses premiums paid by the insured person to the insurance company in exchange for the insured amount.
