Abstract
Cilj ovog rada je proučiti osnovna svojstva i rezultate koji se odnose na metričke i topološke prostore. U prvom dijelu rada objašnjava se euklidski prostor te osnovne definicije i svojstva koji su potrebni za daljnju analizu prostora. U radu se obraduju otvoreni i zatvoreni skupovi u metričkom i topološkom prostoru, nizovi u metričkom prostoru, neprekidna preslikavanja u metričkom i topološkom prostoru te povezani prostori.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to consider fundamental properties and results concerning of metric and topological spaces. It will be defined the Euclidean space, fundamental definitions and properties which are required for further analysis of the space. Also, in this bachelor’s thesis the open and closed sets in metric and topological space, sequences in metric space, continuous functions in metric and topological space and connceted spaces it will be presented
