Abstract
U ovom radu predstavljene su krivulje ponovnog rasta tumora koje se koriste za opisivanje tumora tretiranih zračenjem ili nekim lijekom. U prvom su poglavlju definirane klasične krivulje rasta, kojima modeliramo monotoni rast tumora: logistička, Gompertzova, Von Bertalanffyjeva krivulja te krivulja koja ih objedinjuje - Richardsova krivulja. Zatim su definirane različite krivulje preživljenja. U drugom poglavlju predstavljamo tri različite krivulje ponovnog rasta i njihova moguća proširenja na modele mješovitih efekata te navodimo neke primjene ovih krivulja. U posljednjem poglavlju navodimo neke mjere ishoda tretmana i objašnjavamo prikladne statističke testove.
Abstract (english)
In this thesis we present tumor regrowth curves which are used to describe the growth of tumors that are treated with radiation or with some kind of drug. In the first chapter, we define classical growth curves which are used to model monotone growth of tumors: the logistic, the Gompertz and the Von Bertalanffy curve, and the curve that unifies them all - the Richards curve. After that, we define different survival curves. In the second chapter, we present three different tumor regrowth curves and their possible extensions to mixed effects models. We list some applications of these curves. In the last chapter, we list some treatment endpoints and explain the appropriate statistical tests.
