Abstract
U ovom radu smo imali cilj opisati poneke neprekidne distribucije te navesti njihove primjene. Prvo ćemo definirati neke osnovne pojmove iz teorije vjerojatnosti koji su nam bitni za lakše razumijevanje neprekidnih distribucija. Zatim ćemo za eksponencijalnu, laplaceovu, beta, uniformnu, gama, normalnu i trokutastu distribuciju napisat oblik i ilustrirat grafički funkcije gustoće i distribucije te izvest formule za očekivanje i varijancu. Nakon toga ćemo za te distirbucije navesti za što se koriste te navesti primjere.
Abstract (english)
The purpose of this thesis is describing some continuous distributions and giving some examples where those distributions can be applied. Firstly, we will state some important concepts from probability theory that will be important for easier understanding of this thesis theme. Next we will define the density and distribution functions and illustrate them, we will also prove the formulas for the mean and variance of the exponential, laplace, beta, uniform, gamma, normal and triangular distribution. After that we will state where those distributions can be applied with illustrative examples.
