Abstract
Tema ovog rada su matrični polinomi. To su polinomi čije su varijable i pripadni koeficijenti elementi skupa matrica reda n. Posebna pažnja je posvećena karakterističnom i minimalnom polinomu koji nam daje dodatne informacije o matrici, poput svojstvenih vrijednosti matrice ili dijagonalizibilnosti matrice. Predstavljena teorija je ilustrirana odgovarajućim primjerima.
Abstract (english)
The topic of this paper are matrix polynomials. These are polynomials whose variables and the corresponding coefficients are the elements of the set of matrices of order n. Special attention is dedicated to characteristic polynomial and minimal polynomial which gives us additional informations about matrix such as eigenvalues of matrix or diagonalizability of matrix. Presented theory is illustrated by suitable examples.
