Abstract
U ovom diplomskom radu istražuju se koncepti i svojstva realne funkcije realne varijable. Definira se pojam funkcije i karakteristike poput injekcije, surjekcije i bijekcije te prikaza njihovih grafova. Nadalje, analiziraju se svojstva funkcija kao što su parnost, periodičnost, monotonost i omeđenost kroz primjere koji ilustriraju njihov utjecaj na grafički prikaz. Proučava se metodologija crtanja grafova funkcija, analizira se graf inverzne funkcije, rješavanje jednadžbi pomoću grafičkog prikaza te transformacije grafa funkcija. Također, rad se bavi integracijom funkcija u Kurikulum nastavnog predmeta Matematika kroz osnovnoškolsko i srednjoškolsko obrazovanje, s naglaskom na primjere i miskoncepcije vezane uz kvadratnu funkciju.
Abstract (english)
This master’s thesis explores the concepts and properties of real functions of a real variable. It defines the concept of a function and characteristics such as injectivity, surjectivity, and bijectivity, as well as the representation of their graphs. Furthermore, it analyzes properties such as parity, periodicity, monotonicity, and boundedness through examples illustrating their impact on graphical representation. The methodology for drawing function graphs is examined, along with the analysis of the inverse function graph, solving equations using graphical representations, and transformations of function graphs. Additionally, the thesis addresses the integration of functions into the Mathematics curriculum in elementary and secondary education, with a focus on examples and misconceptions related to quadratic functions.
