Abstract
U ovome radu ćemo proučavati prosječnu udaljenost vrhova u nekom konačnom povezanom jednostavnom grafu. Navest ćemo definiciju Wienerova indeksa obzirom da je on sastavni dio formule za prosječnu udaljenost vrhova. Izvest ćemo formule za prosječnu udaljenost vrhova nekih specijalnih klasa grafova, a zatim dati granice koje ovise o nekim parametrima danog grafa. Proučavat ćemo i utjecaj uklanjanja vrha na prosječnu udaljenost vrhova u grafu.
Abstract (english)
In this paper we will study the average distnace in finite connected simple graph. A defi- nition of Wiener index of a graph will be given, since this is the main part of the formula for average distance. We will derive formulae for average distances of some special class of graphs, and also derive bounds that depend on some special graph parameters. At last, we will study the influence of vertex removal on the average distance of graph.
