Abstract
Tema ovog rada su funkcije izvodnice momenata poznatih parametarskih distribucija. Za početak ćemo proći kroz osnovne pojmove teorije vjerojatnosti pa ćemo reći nešto više o samim funkcijama izvodnicama momenata. Definirat ćemo funkcije izvodnice momenata, navesti ćemo njihova svojstva te ćemo odrediti funkcije izvodnice momenata za neke poznate distribucije kao što su Bernoullijeva distribucija, binomna distribucija, geometrijska distribucija i nekoliko drugih. Abstract (english)
The topic of this bachelor’s thesis are moment generating functions. We will start off with recalling some of the basic definitions concerning probability theory and then we will say something about moment generating functions. We will define moment generating functions, go through their properties and calculate them for some well known distributions, such as Bernoulli distribution, binomial distribution, geometric distribution and few others.
