Abstract
Na početku ovog diplomskog rada dan je pregled o tome na koji način se teme iz povijesti matematike spominju u kurikulumu nastavnog predmeta Matematika. U drugom poglavlju rada obrađene su teme iz povijesti matematike, a u trećem se navode razne opće povijesne teme koje se koriste u nastavi matematike. Pri tome naglasak je stavljen na one povijesne teme koje se obrađuju u petom razredu osnovne škole. Za sve te povijesne teme promotreno je kada se i na koji način mogu koristiti u nastavi matematike ili u nekoj izvannastavnoj aktivnosti. U zadnjem dijelu rada, s tog aspekta korištenja povijesnih tema uspoređeni su udžbenici dva različita izdavača (Školska knjiga te Profil) za peti razred osnovne škole te su prokomentirane razlike u korištenju povijesti matematike i povijesnih tema u tim udžbenicima.
Abstract (english)
At the beginning of this thesis, an overview is given of how topics from the history of mathematics are mentioned in the curriculum of the subject Mathematics. In the second chapter of the paper, topics from the history of mathematics are covered, and in the third, various general historical topics that are usedd in the teaching of mathematics are mentioned. Herein, the emphasis is placed on those historical topics that are covered in the fifth grade of elementary school. For all these historical topics, it was observed when and in what way they can be used in mathematics lessons or in some extracurricular activity. In the last part of the paper, the textbooks of two different publishers (Školska knjiga and Profil) for the fifth grade of elementary school were compared from this aspect of the use of historical topics, and the differences in the use of the history of mathematics and historical topics in these textbooks were commented on.
