Abstract
U ovom radu istražit ćemo osnovne pojmove vezane uz vektorske funkcije. Na početku ćemo definirati vektorsku funkciju, njezin limes, derivaciju i neprekidnost. Nadalje, prikazat ćemo i objasniti geometrijsku interpretaciju vektorskih funkcija. U drugom dijelu rada definirat ćemo ključne pojmove kao što su skalarno polje, vektorsko polje, gradijent, rotacija i divergencija te iskazati i pokazati neka njihova svojstva. Nakon toga, u trećem poglavlju bavit ćemo se primjenama vektorske funkcije u različitim područjima matematike i fizike. Analizirat ćemo zakrivljenost krivulje te uvesti pojam brzine i akceleracije kao derivacije vektorske funkcije položaja. Na kraju, proučit ćemo Keplerove zakone koji imaju iznimnu važnost u astronomiji.
Abstract (english)
In this paper, we will explore basic concepts related to vector functions. At the beginning, we will define the vector function, its limes, derivative and continuity. Furthermore, we will show and explain the geometric interpretation of vector functions. In the second part of the paper, we will define key terms such as scalar field, vector field, gradient, rotation and divergence, and state and show some of their properties. After that, in the third chapter, we will deal with the applications of the vector function in different areas of mathematics and physics. We will analyze the curvature of the curve and introduce the concept of speed and acceleration as derivatives of the position vector function. Finally, we will study Kepler’s laws, which are extremely important in astronomy.
