Abstract
Igre na sreću su sve popularnije u današnje vrijeme, a opće je poznato da je u pozadini tih igara teorija vjerojatnosti. U prvom dijelu rada upoznali smo se s teorijom igara na sreću, vidjeli primjenu teorije korisnosti i odlučivanja u tim igrama te naveli osnovne teoreme. Definirali smo i neke sisteme klađenja, primjerice martingalna strategija i Kellyjev sistem, koji nam sugeriraju koliki iznos trebamo uložiti u igru. U drugom dijelu rada smo naveli neke igre na sreću kao što su Blackjack, Baccarat, Backgammon i Tko želi biti milijunaš?. Naveli smo njihove optimalne strategije, a u nekima smo na primjerima igre vidjeli primjenu sistema klađenja. Pokazalo se da nisu svi sistemi klađenja profitabilni u svim igrama, neki nose veći dobitak od drugih.
Abstract (english)
Games of chance are becoming increasingly popular, and it is common knowledge that the probability theory is behind these games. In the first part of the paper, gambling theory was introduced, the application of decision making theory and utility in these games was shown, and basic theorems are listed. Also, we defined some betting systems, such as the Martingale strategy and Kelly’s system, which suggest the optimal amount to invest in the game. In the second part of the paper, we listed some games of chance, such as Blackjack, Baccarat, Backgammon and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? and their optimal strategies. Also, we concluded that not all betting systems are profitable in every game.
