Abstract
U ovom diplomskom radu dan je uvod u Fibonaccijeve i Lucasove brojeve. U prvom dijelu rada definirali smo Fibonaccijeve i Lucasove brojeve, dokazali različite identitete koji vrijede za Fibonaccijeve brojeve, neke koji vrijede za Lucasove brojeve i neke koji su poveznica između Lucasovih i Fibonaccijevih brojeva. U drugom dijelu rada nabrojana su još neka svojstva ovih brojeva i opisana je njihova veza s Pascalovim trokutom. U trećem dijelu navedene su primjene Fibonaccijevih brojeva u geometriji i trigonometriji, tzv. Fibonometrija. Na kraju rada su navedene neke zanimljivosti vezane uz ove brojeve: njihovo pojavljivanje u prirodi, tzv. Fibonaccijeve krivotvorine i brojevni sustavi bazirani na Fibonaccijevim i Lucasovim brojevima.
Abstract (english)
In this paper we give the introduction to Fibonacci and Lucas numbers. First part of the paper gives descriptions od Fibonacci and Lucas numbers, proofs of various identities that are valid for Fibonacci numbers, some that are valid for Lucas numbers and some that bring Lucas and Fibonacci numbers together. The second part of the paper lists some basic properties of this numbers and give connections with Pascal triangle. Next part of the paper contains the applications of Fibonacci numbers in geometry and trigonometry, the so-called Fibonometry. The end of this paper brings some intresting facts about these numbers: their appearance in nature, the so-called Fibonacci falsifications and number systems with Fibonacci and Lucas numbers.
